Beaming Apartment On Burleigh Beach

Great location & property - don’t expect a quick check-in process @ 7 Eleven Positive: Great location and property has all you need however be prepared for a long winded and annoying checkin process as you need to pick up keys from a 7 Eleven and staff (checkin -picking up the keys and checkout - dropping keys off) KNEW NOTHING ABOUT OUR ACCOMMODATION BOOKING. It took 30 minutes to get the keys with phones calls to “booking people” and cashier ringing his boss - really not acceptable. This really put a dampener on our stay and had us wondering what kind of accommodation we had booked. Plus only one set of keys - not ideal for 2 couples. On the plus side - The unit is a great size however lacks the homely feel - rug on the tiles in the lounge room would make a huge difference. Extra single seater would be great given it accommodates 4 adults and it’s a three seater couch. Having four of everything in the kitchen is OK but you really don’t want to wash up when you want a new wineglass! Great location close to the beach and walking distance to lots of restaurants and surf clubs. The fans do have a mind of their own however did work. Air-conditioner works great however none in bedrooms.

Burleigh Heads is a great location and this was a great place to experience it. Positive: The property was as pictured. Light and airy. Excellent location minutes from beach and shops and headland. Ground floor. Garden on one side, car park on other side. Car park was a little noisy at times. Pleasant outdoor area. Lovely host although some conflicting information in guidebook in property vs messages. Very responsive to all my questions. Nice bathroom products and appreciated provision of beach towels. Pool was a good size and ample chairs/sun lounges during our stay. Negative: Property could use a bit of maintenance. Main disappointment would be shutters in second bedroom broken, no privacy screen/door from ensuite to bedroom. A few other things could do with repair and would have resulted in a higher score. Would be good if you could hire tennis rackets to take use of tennis court.

Positive: Great location, walking to beach and restaurants. Kitchen has good equipment. Good size living area. Negative: Difficulty finding the property.

Positive: light and airy with great private outdoor space. Across from beach. Very clean with everything you need

Negative: Only one set of keys between 4 people
